Overview

This is a program made solely in Python using Pygame and other modules. This began as a personal project started in January 2024 and finished in June of the same year, but I decided to release it on itch so that other passionate pixel artists like me can use it for fun.

Pydraw was made by me and one of my close friends, dia, who helped me a lot in creating this wonderful program. It was heavily inspired by Pixilart, another very well-made drawing editor.

I had a lot of fun in the process of making it and I hope you like it as much as I do.

Performance & Feedback

I know that it is not very optimized in terms of performance, that's why I recommend using a canvas smaller than 300x300. I plan releasing updates in the future based on what the community needs. If you find any bugs or issues, I advise reporting them on my discord server linked below.

How to install

Press the "Download Now" button, a window will appear and in the center there's a button which takes you to the files. If you have an itch account, you simply download it and you're ready to play. Without an itch account, after downloading it you must right click the archive and extract it to folder. The .exe file will be in there. Also, do not change or delete the "save_folder", it is important for saving the drawings.
